Mr.Color Acrysion Base Color Series (Group)
- Base colors can be mixed with other base colors. It can also be mixed with acrylic paint, allowing you to create your favorite base color.
- Its increased viscosity improves brush application, allowing for quick, full-color coverage. When using with an airbrush, it needs to be diluted more than regular acrylic paint.
- The pigments used are large and provide some scratch-filling effect, so it also functions as an acrylic surfacer.
- Taking advantage of its low-solvent properties and strong adhesive strength, it also serves as an all-around primer when painting ABS resin parts, which are easily damaged by solvents, or urethane resin parts, whose surfaces are difficult to dissolve.
Note: If you paint an Acrysion Base Color over a water-based primer, cracks may appear on the surface after drying. This
is especially likely to occur if you apply the Acrysion Base Color thickly when the water-based primer has not yet dried sufficiently. If you use it, we recommend allowing the base coat to dry sufficiently and not applying it thickly all at once.
