Black Surfacer 1000 particles turn the finish color of the base material black, so it can be used as a base for metallic colors and as a base for black paint. It is very convenient because you can create the base material and paint black in one go.
If you are using the bottle type with a brush, you can use it as is. If you are using an airbrush, dilute it 1:1 with water or a thinner for water-based hobby colors (recommended).
